CAR didn't generate much offense but didn't give up much either. I have yet to see Rags play a complete game this postseason so let's hope they are demoralized after this losing effort.

The first period canes gave up some quality chances. Not a lot but raanta kept them in that game. Probably the worst game the canes will play. Canes should win in 5.

The young rangers are learning thru experience. They probably won’t win this series but a lucky deflection in overtime is not going to slow them down. The first game in the pens series was over in the third period even the diehard pens fans know it! If that loss didn’t bother them this one won’t either!

I am going to hold my enthusiasm until I see the Canes win a road playoff game. The Staal line does a great job of shutting down the opposing team top line but that is not available to them on the road.

Also the Canes are most vulnerable when they get down by multiple goals early. Rod has them in such good physical condition that they expect to dominate the third period when the other team is out of gas. If they are down by multiple goals they take too many offensive risks.

Yeah cause losing 1st game in triple ot and being down 3 to1 while trailing inall those games didn't demoralize them but this loss win let go of the hate series is over Pitt lost better team don't always win.

You could also say Penguins didn't play a full 60 min game either but enough of that this Carolina board talk should be about them.

This is the best playoff game they've played and they still lost. Their roster isn't used to that as Shesterkin outplays every goalie especially the AHLer Domingue. If Raanta plays remotely competitively to Shesterkin, the series is over in quick order.
